Paymo 3 integration

Before I jump, I want to confirm my hook to Paymo2 will work when I upgrade to Paymo 3 (http://www.paymo.biz/blog/paymo-3-0-beta-is-here/). I ask because when I click the link on Paymo to upgrade, it says:

Before you begin!
Paymo.biz (Paymo 2) and Paymoapp.com (Paymo 3) are two separate applications.
This means that after the migration your Paymo 2 account will remain intact and changes (like adding a task, logging some time) made in one will not reflect in the other.

Have you tested this? Can I upgrade and retain my current integration and data?
