Customize "first day of week"

It would be nice if the users can customize both or either of the items below:
1. reporting projects summary within an arbitrary period (say, from last Thursday to this Wednesday);
2. setting the “first day of week” (say, to Thursday).

What do you think?

I believe 24h option will be in the next version.

My wishlist, these should be customizable in “my preferences”:

• start of week (Monday)
• time format (24h)
• date format (DD/MM/YYYY)

All of these have been brought up by many users and will be addressed as soon as possible.

First of all, thanks Rob.
I wanted to bump reporting projects summary within arbitrary period. I bill semi-monthly, so is not based upon weeks but upon calendar dates. I would like to be able to select a date range for reporting.
