Klok2 Spiking CPU Usage

Hello!

For the most part, I love Klok. But, at least once a day my computer’s fan suddenly goes into overdrive and when I check on processes it shows that Klok2 is taking between 130% and 140% of my CPU. It runs like this until I quit Klok and restart it. Most of the time it uses around 2% of my CPU.

For reference, I’m on a mac mini running 10.8.5 on a 2.3 GHz i5 and 8GB of RAM.

Anyone have any ideas about how I can make these weird spikes stop?

For additional reference, here is a screen cap showing the percentage of overload (it hit 138% just before I capped this), and how much memory is being used. Klok usually is around 119MB.
