It would be cool to be able to insert new times by using command line input similar to launchy, quicksilver, or google’s desktop search. Mouse-based input takes forever.
Here’s how I envision it:
1.) Hit hotkey e.g. ctrl-alt-T
2.) Box comes up asking for text input
3.) You use command line input using specific syntax. Maybe something like:| 4.) You could also support things like:
“Work On
” <-- maybe have a drop down of projects when you type "work on"
“pause”
“stop work”
“resume”April 6, 2009 at 2:11 pm #1485Scott MckeownMemberInteresting…I will mention this to Rob.

I’d also love to see a command line option that just echoes back the current project being worked on, which could be used by an external tool (for instance, geektool on the mac) to display the current project. That way I won’t forget to change it when I change context as often!
